About Us

Newbells Electricals was founded in 1998 as an independent electrical retail shop in the popular resort town of Shanklin on the sunny Isle of Wight. The shop was established selling a wide range of electrical fittings, lighting, small appliances and appliance spare parts. Over the years the shop has become very popular with locals, tradesman and visitors to the island who had left that essential electrical item at home!

The business has continued to receive fantastic local support and the shop continues to trade in Shanklin, selling our wide and varied range of electrical fittings and appliance spare parts. We have concentrated on continuing the legacy of the early years, but at the same time continuing to modernising the shop, adding new products and setting up our online store.

Our new online store is designed to compliment our existing bricks and mortar shop and in addition to our normal range, we will sell a wider range of appliances and electrical parts at our usual competitive prices to a wider community both on and off the Isle of Wight.
